Labeling Milk from Cows Not Treated with rBST: Legal in all 50 States as of September 29th, 2010

Under the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and accompanying regulations, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is charged with promulgating regulations pertaining to food, including the labeling of food. Specifically, FDA must ensure that labels are not false or misleading to consumers.
